Get Email Template Default for Context and Event
GET/api/store-email-templates/defaults
Returns the built-in default a NEW template for this context + event starts from — subject, preheader, html_body — plus how it renders (preview_html, preview_subject: mock data inside the store's brand layout). Used by the template editor when creating a template so it opens on SKU's default instead of a blank page. Nothing is changed.
settings:readGrant this scope to your token under Settings → Developer → Personal Access Tokens.
Authentication: Requires Bearer token.
data is null when SKU ships no built-in default for the pair (the editor then starts blank). An unknown context, or a missing context/event, is a 422 validation error.

Response Headers
Unauthenticated — the bearer token is missing, revoked, expired, or malformed. Never retry automatically; fix the credential. See the Errors guide.
Forbidden — the token lacks a required scope, the endpoint is not available to API tokens, or the user behind the token lacks the permission. A human must adjust the token scopes or user permissions; do not retry.
