Schedule Promotions

POST

/api/walmart/:integrationInstance/promotions

Schedule a promotional price across many listings. Every listing rides in ONE promotion feed.

Required scope: integrations:write

Grant this scope to your token under Settings → Developer → Personal Access Tokens.

Walmart accepts a limited number of promotion feeds per day for a seller, an order of magnitude fewer than price feeds. One request covers the whole selection in a single feed, however many listings it carries; feed_budget reports what is left and, when nothing is, the time the next slot opens.

The discount rule and round_to behave exactly as described on Preview Promotion.

A promotional price is still a price, so it is checked against the same guardrails a base-price push obeys. If any listing breaks one, the request is refused with the count and nothing is sent; resend with allow_guardrail_breaches to proceed, and the breach is recorded against each affected promotion.

Promotions are created in the pending state: Walmart ingests feeds asynchronously, so an accepted feed is not an accepted SKU. Each promotion resolves to accepted or rejected once the feed completes, and a rejected one carries Walmart's reason.

Authentication: Requires Bearer token.

Requires the integrations.sync permission.
