Delete Supplier
DELETE/api/suppliers/:supplier
Delete a supplier. Returns 400 if the supplier is linked to purchase orders or other records. Deleting a supplier also removes its owned records, including its custom field values.
suppliers:writeGrant this scope to your token under Settings → Developer → Personal Access Tokens.
Authentication: Requires Bearer token. Requires IsPowerUserAccess middleware.
Requires permission: suppliers.delete
When the supplier is still referenced by other records, or its warehouse is the default returns warehouse, the delete is refused with 400 and nothing is deleted.
A supplier that runs a contractor warehouse as a contract manufacturer is not deleted: archive it instead, so the warehouse and its stock keep their contractor. The refusal is reported per blocking relation (contractorWarehouses) by Check Suppliers Deletable.

Unauthenticated — the bearer token is missing, revoked, expired, or malformed. Never retry automatically; fix the credential. See the Errors guide.
Forbidden — the token lacks a required scope, the endpoint is not available to API tokens, or the user behind the token lacks the permission. A human must adjust the token scopes or user permissions; do not retry.
Not found — no record with the given identifier (or the route does not exist). Verify the ID before retrying.
Rate limited — platform limit is 1,000 requests/min; individual tokens may carry lower limits. Honor the Retry-After header before retrying. See the Rate Limits guide.
