Get Record Action Run

/api/automation/record-actions/runs/:execution

Get one run with its step-by-step results, read-only. The run is returned under data, in the same shape as Get Workflow Execution, but this endpoint is available to users who can run record actions without managing workflows.

Required scope: settings:read

Grant this scope to your token under Settings → Developer → Personal Access Tokens.

Allowed for users who manage workflows (workflows.index), for the user who started the run, and for anyone with view permission on the record the run was started on.

Path parameters

  • execution - the run (execution) id.

Response highlights: status uses display values (pending, running, waiting, success, failed, cancelled). triggeredBy is the user who started the run. waits[] lists steps that paused for an external callback or an agent runner (status: pending, waiting, completed, failed, timed_out, canceled; with expiry, heartbeat and last-progress times). isWaiting is true while the run is paused, and canCancel is true while it is pending or waiting.

Returns 403 when the user may not see the run, 404 when it does not exist.
