/api/bills/import/template

Download the landed cost bill import template as an XLSX file. Import the filled-in file through the data-import endpoints with entity_type=bills (see Upload Data Import); allocations and payments import as bill_allocations and bill_payments. The response is a binary file download, not JSON.

Required scope: purchase-orders:read

Grant this scope to your token under Settings → Developer → Personal Access Tokens.

Authentication: Requires Bearer token. Scope: purchase-orders (read/write). Requires the purchase_orders.create permission.

Sheets​

  • Import Here — the import columns with sample rows built from your account. One row per bill line or manual allocation; repeat the invoice # and header fields on every row of a bill.
  • Field Guide — every column, whether it is required, valid values and an example.
  • Reference Data — your service suppliers, link types, proration strategies, currencies, payment terms, cost categories, tax rates and nominal codes.
