Preview Chain Clone
GET/api/manufacturing/chains/clone-preview/:product
Preview copying an existing product's stage and vendor structure onto a new finished good.
manufacturing:readGrant this scope to your token under Settings → Developer → Personal Access Tokens.
Authentication: requires a Bearer token.
Returns the source product's stages with their production method, contractor, cost basis, service fee rate and expected yield, plus the first stage's components with their costs and units — enough to price the copy before the new product is named. output_uom_id is the unit the source chain is measured in; run the copy in the same unit or every per-unit rate changes meaning.
The source chain is never modified. A non-empty blockers array means the product is not a clonable chain (no live recipe, or made in a single stage).

Response Headers
Unauthenticated — the bearer token is missing, revoked, expired, or malformed. Never retry automatically; fix the credential. See the Errors guide.
Forbidden — the token lacks a required scope, the endpoint is not available to API tokens, or the user behind the token lacks the permission. A human must adjust the token scopes or user permissions; do not retry.
Not found — no record with the given identifier (or the route does not exist). Verify the ID before retrying.
Rate limited — platform limit is 1,000 requests/min; individual tokens may carry lower limits. Honor the Retry-After header before retrying. See the Rate Limits guide.
