Decide on Draft

/api/success-plan/publications/:publication/decision

Records your decision on a draft SKU.io prepared from your plan: approve it, request changes or decline it. Drafts awaiting review are listed in Get Success Plan (publications_awaiting_review).

Required scope: success_plan:write

Grant this scope to your token under Settings → Developer → Personal Access Tokens.

Approval is refused while sharing is no, while a figure the draft cites has been restated since it was written (figures_changed, with the restated reading_ids), or while a quote it uses has a removal request.

Authentication: Requires Bearer token with the success_plan:write scope. The user must hold the success_plan.manage permission.

Body:

  • decision (string, required): approve, request_changes or decline.
  • comment (string, max 5000): required with request_changes.

Returns the draft: id, title, format (quote_card, clip, qa, workflow, numbers_case_study, partner_story) with format_label, preview_url, body_excerpt, status (awaiting_review, approved, changes_requested, declined, revoked, published, revocation_requested) with status_label, figures (each cited figure as a labeled value with the text the draft uses and its goal_title), quotes, cites, figures_changed, publish_allowed, decided_by, decided_at, decision_comment, published_url, published_at, created_by and created_at.

409 codes: not_awaiting_review (with the current status), figures_changed, consent_no, quote_removal_requested.
