Duplicate Custom Report

/api/v2/custom-reports/:customReport/duplicate

Create a private copy of a report you can see (including reports shared with you). The copy is owned by you, has private visibility and is neither a template nor a favorite.

Required scope: reports:write

Grant this scope to your token under Settings → Developer → Personal Access Tokens.

Body:

• name (string, optional): name of the copy; defaults to the original name followed by (Copy)

Copying an SQL report requires the reports.sql permission (403 otherwise). Returns 201 with the new report.

Authentication: Bearer token (Personal Access Token). Personal access tokens need the reports:write scope.

Validation failed — the body is a field → messages map (Laravel shape) or the platform envelope with a stable machine-readable code. Fix the payload and resubmit.

Rate limited — platform limit is 1,000 requests/min; individual tokens may carry lower limits. Honor the Retry-After header before retrying. See the Rate Limits guide.
