Download bills of materials as an XLSX or CSV file.

Requires a Personal Access Token with the manufacturing export permission.
A BOM has three independent child collections, so content_mode picks which one a row represents. A BOM with no rows in the selected collection still produces one row, with the child columns left blank.
Date-only columns (effective_from, effective_to) are exported as stated. Timestamp columns (created_at, updated_at, archived_at) are converted from UTC to the account timezone so the file matches what the application shows.
The workbook mode is the round-trip shape: its four sheets carry exactly the headings the three import templates accept, so an exported workbook can be edited and imported back without rebuilding the file.
Responds with a binary spreadsheet, not JSON.

Response Headers
Unauthenticated — the bearer token is missing, revoked, expired, or malformed. Never retry automatically; fix the credential. See the Errors guide.
Forbidden — the token lacks a required scope, the endpoint is not available to API tokens, or the user behind the token lacks the permission. A human must adjust the token scopes or user permissions; do not retry.
Rate limited — platform limit is 1,000 requests/min; individual tokens may carry lower limits. Honor the Retry-After header before retrying. See the Rate Limits guide.
