Fail Agent Job
POST/api/automation/runner/jobs/:job/fail
Report that a claimed job could not be done.
Called by your own agent or script with the token SKU issued for this runner or callback, sent as Authorization: Bearer <token> — not with a Personal Access Token or a session.
Authenticate with the runner token as Authorization: Bearer <runner token> (not a Personal Access Token).

error(required, string, max 5000) - what went wrong.retryable(optional boolean, default false) - when true the job returns to the queue for another attempt (counting toward the limit of 3); otherwise, or after the last attempt, the run continues on the step's error output.
Returns 202 with outcome = requeued or failed. 404 unknown job, 409 job already closed, 422 validation errors.

Unauthenticated — the bearer token is missing, revoked, expired, or malformed. Never retry automatically; fix the credential. See the Errors guide.
Forbidden — the token lacks a required scope, the endpoint is not available to API tokens, or the user behind the token lacks the permission. A human must adjust the token scopes or user permissions; do not retry.
