Create Customer Contact
POST/api/v2/customers/:customer/contacts
Add a new contact to a customer. Fields: name (required), email, phone, role (default general), title, is_primary, notes (max 500). The first contact added to a customer automatically becomes primary; setting is_primary demotes the previous primary.
customers:writeGrant this scope to your token under Settings → Developer → Personal Access Tokens.
Role options: general, sales_rep, account_manager, customer_service, accounts_payable, accounts_receivable, purchasing, shipping_receiving, warehouse_manager, operations, billing, owner, other.
Authentication: Requires Bearer token.

Response Headers
Unauthenticated — the bearer token is missing, revoked, expired, or malformed. Never retry automatically; fix the credential. See the Errors guide.
Forbidden — the token lacks a required scope, the endpoint is not available to API tokens, or the user behind the token lacks the permission. A human must adjust the token scopes or user permissions; do not retry.
Not found — no record with the given identifier (or the route does not exist). Verify the ID before retrying.
