Record Lot COA Results
PUT/api/v2/fifo-layers/:fifoLayer/coa-results
Record the values read off a Certificate of Analysis, evaluate them against the product specification, and gate the lot.
inventory:writeGrant this scope to your token under Settings → Developer → Personal Access Tokens.
A result outside specification quarantines the lot: the available quantity is placed on a quality-control hold and leaves available-to-promise. A lot that previously failed and now passes has that hold released automatically.
A named analyte left blank is incomplete, not failed — it warns but does not quarantine. With no specification on the product nothing can be judged and the verdict is not_applicable.
Set is_suggested when the values came from automated document extraction rather than a person: suggested values are stored but never evaluated and never gate a lot.
Overall verdicts: passed, failed, incomplete, not_applicable.

Response Headers
Unauthenticated — the bearer token is missing, revoked, expired, or malformed. Never retry automatically; fix the credential. See the Errors guide.
Forbidden — the token lacks a required scope, the endpoint is not available to API tokens, or the user behind the token lacks the permission. A human must adjust the token scopes or user permissions; do not retry.
Not found — no record with the given identifier (or the route does not exist). Verify the ID before retrying.
Validation failed — the body is a field → messages map (Laravel shape) or the platform envelope with a stable machine-readable code. Fix the payload and resubmit.
Rate limited — platform limit is 1,000 requests/min; individual tokens may carry lower limits. Honor the Retry-After header before retrying. See the Rate Limits guide.
